  As a retail bank they do a good job and have been my business bank for a number of years. I referred several of my clients buying waterfront homes to them in May / June for mortgages and they did mortgages for 2 of my clients in Crystal Island - another went ahead and paid cash since they never returned their call - we are talking all the kind of clients you'd want to lend to. We have 10 clients buy waterfront homes and condos the last 2 months and no longer refer to USAmeribank. The other 2 clients did loans with them but when there were questions or concerns in the process there was no follow-up or repsonse as promised from Buck Best as the lender, to Qyuen Tran as the Mortgage Processor along with , to the VP Mauro Harto - all said they would call and follow up - NONE did!!! It would be different if one person had a bad day or an issue but I had same experience with all 4 people in the transaction and then took time to contact and discuss with the VP who asked to meet then cancelled and never followed up so wanted to share my experience here for others looking for mortgages with USAmeribank - it makes me sad and embarassed since I have just high regards for them and my experience personally prior to working with their mortgage team. I am very disappointed at how the mortgage side of the bank is run and operated. I even discussed on several occasions with my banker of 20 years and I understand the retail side of banking is different but what a disconnect - will not refer any more clients there. I could go on and on, but all I can say is our clients are use to good service and responsiveness not ditch and hide when issues arise. There are always issues and challenges in real estate today - you need professionals that will do what they say and be there in the fire - not my experience with USAmeribank.
